Bob Carrere and Andy Pesce are the new owners of one of Hawaii's most celebrated gardens, and keeping a tradition of welcoming visitors into the garden, have opened the gates once again for HIPS members. Bob and Andy named the garden, Moani: Lundkvist Garden, "Moani" is a Hawaiian word meaning gentle fragrant breeze, and Lundkvist honors the garden's creators and in respect for the attachment many people have developed with the garden.
The story of how Bob and Andy found their paradise can be found in the June HIPS Newsletter.
We are tentatively having 2 sessions of 40 people pending COVID mandates. As more variants of the virus are emerging, the owners would like to open their garden to vaccinated members only. Registration will open August 11th.
